Destiny’s Group Home, Inc. has adopted the preventive measures given by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in our residential homes, including (but not limited to) the following:

• All individuals and staff members will know how the virus is spread.
• All individuals and staff members will wash their hands often.
• All individuals and staff members will avoid close contact with people who are sick and will stay at least six (6) feet from other people.
• All individuals and staff members will cover their mouth and nose with a mask when around others.
• Each individual and staff member will cover their mouth and nose with a tissue when they cough or sneeze, or use the inside of their elbow and will not spit. Then, they will immediately wash their hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
• All residential homes will be cleaned and disinfected daily. This includes tables, doorknobs, light switches, countertops, handles, desks, phones, keyboards, toilets, faucets, and sinks.
• All individuals and staff members’ health will be monitored daily. They will be observed for fever, cough, shortness of breath, or other symptoms of COVID-19.
• All individuals, staff members, and visitors will have their temperature taken daily in all of DGH’s residential homes.
